“Kingdom Work” Hits the Runway: Colorado Creative, Brandi McMichael Brings Scripture-Inspired Fashion to Denver Fashion Week

Denver, CO – April 2025 – On May 10th, fashion meets faith in a bold new way as designer, speaker, and creative leader Brandi McMichael debuts her first original collection, Kingdom Work, at Denver Fashion Week’s Sustainable Opening Night.

Inspired by scripture from Genesis to Revelation, Kingdom Work is a modern fashion collection that reimagines biblical stories through upcycled materials and faith-filled creativity. Each piece is handcrafted and symbolically designed to reflect themes of redemption, strength, calling, and purpose.

“These aren’t Bible costumes,” McMichael shares. “They’re visual expressions of the Word—contemporary, wearable reminders that God still speaks, moves, and calls us to walk in purpose.”

Rooted in Redemption and Reuse

The collection is entirely made from thrifted, repurposed, and found materials, reflecting the redemptive nature of God—who takes what’s broken and makes it beautiful. From a valance-turned-cape to curtains dyed with purpose, each design tells a deeper spiritual story.

McMichael’s models? Her own church friends—a community of “Lord-lovin’, God-fearin’ creatives” walking in purpose on the runway, just as they do in life.

A Creative Calling, Years in the Making

Born in the Philippines and adopted as a toddler, Brandi grew up in Aurora, Colorado, where her passion for creativity, storytelling, and faith took root. She is the founder of Fashion Denver, producer of CreativeMornings / Denver, and a business consultant helping others turn dreams into reality.

“I’ve spent years helping others shine,” McMichael says. “But this season feels like God saying, ‘Now it’s your turn. Step out.’ This collection is my ‘yes’ to Him.”

She describes this season as her Jubilee—a time of freedom, joy, and walking fully into her calling.

Join the Movement

Kingdom Work is more than a fashion line—it’s a visual message, a love
letter to scripture, and a celebration of what it means to be created, called,
and clothed with purpose.
